  1. Q: Who is OSHA Continuing Education?
    A: We are a top OSHA safety school in the nation offering virtually all the OSHA safety training courses you need including all OSHA Outreach courses.


  2. Q: What’s the difference between the 10 and 30 hour OSHA outreach courses?
    A: Typically, a supervisor will need the 30 hour OSHA course and the worker will need the 10 hour course.


  3. Q: What’s the difference between the General Industry Outreach vs. the Construction Outreach courses?
    A: Someone working on a jobsite in the construction industry will need the construction outreach course. Everyone else, such as people in manufacturing, healthcare, etc. will need the industry outreach courses.


  4. Q: What is the difference in the 40hr Hazwoper and 24 hr Hazwoper course?
    A: A supervisor who isn’t actually handling the hazardous waste would generally take the 24 hour hazwoper course. In addition there is a one-day required jobsite training. Someone actually handling hazardous waste will generally need the 40 hour Hazwoper course. For people taking the 40-hour course, there is an additional 3-day jobsite training and an additional 8-hour hands-on classroom training that must be taken in person. The advantage of the 40-hr online course is that the student needs to spend only 8 hours in the classroom instead of 48 hours.


  5. Q: How do I prove I have taken these courses? Is there a completion slip or a wallet card issued?
    A: At the end of the course, there is a survey the student must complete. After completing the survey, a temporary certificate of completion can be printed immediately. We will automatically send your information to the U.S. Department of Labor who will send us your official OSHA card. Once we receive the official OSHA card we fill in the details and send it to you. The entire process takes a couple of weeks, but your printable certificate should be acceptable for your employer until your wallet card arrives.


  6. Q: How long will it take to complete the course?
    A: Many students complete the 8-10 hour courses in a day, and the 30-40 hour courses in a few days. The shorter courses can be done in 1 – 3 hours.


  7. Q: I forgot my User Name and Password. What do I do?
    A: If you have forgotten your password, click here and then click on the "forgot password" link below the student login. Then enter your email address. You should receive an email to your email address stating your password.
    If you have forgotten your username and password, please contact technical support 24 hours at 1-888-318-3497.


  8. Q: Must I complete my course in one sitting?
    A: No! You do not have to complete a session in one sitting. At the end of a section, you can log out and when you log back in, all of your information will be saved.


  9. Q: Can I register and pay for an employee?
    A: No problem!


  10. Q: How do I register multiple students at one time?
    A: To register multiple students, please call our sales team at 866.619.9414.


  11. Q: Is there a time restriction on completing the course?
    A: Courses do not have a time restriction, except for the OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Outreach courses. For the OSHA 10 Hour Outreach and 30 Hour Outreach courses, the time to complete the course is six months.


  12. Q: Who do I call to set up a corporate account?
    A: To set up a corporate account, please call an enrollment specialist at 866.619.9414.


  13. Q: How can I pay for the course?
    A: You can pay for the course by check card or credit card. If you are a corporate client that is signing up multiple students, you can set up a corporate billing account and be invoiced for your purchase at the end of each month.

  15. Q: How do I go back and reprint my certificate of course completion?
    A: Go here and log in using your username and password. Click on the certificate icon next to the course title you would like to reprint.

  17. Q: Do you accept any type of financial aid or offer any special rates for students or military personnel?
    A: No financial aid is available for our courses.


  18. Q: I have taken the 10-hour Outreach Training course. When will I receive my OSHA card?
    A: Upon completion of the course, you will receive a temporary certificate of completion. In 4-6 weeks, you will receive your official card from OSHA and the Department of Labor in the mail.


  19. Q: I lost my 10-Hour Outreach Training Completion Card, how do I get another one?
    A: Please contact our customer support team at 866.619.9414 with your information to receive a replacement card.


  20. Q: What do I receive when I complete a Hazwoper course(s)?
    A: You will receive a printable certificate upon successful completion of the Hazwoper course(s).


  21. Q: How do I know where I am in the course?
    A: When you are logged in to the course, click on the "My Training" button in the bottom lefthand section of the courseplayer. Click on "Outline" to see where you are in the course and to skip around to different sections.


  22. Q: Do the basic and advanced course Safety and Health Courses meet the training requirements set by the OSHA 1910 and 1926 Standards?
    A: Yes, they do.
